How to use the blog

There are a number of ways that you can navigate this blog.

Search box

At the top of the right-hand side of the screen, in the search box, type in the topic you are looking for such as dyspraxia or sleep. If there are any posts relating to these words or phrases they will appear on the left-hand side of the screen.

Categories

On the right-hand side of the page click on the category you want to look at, such as dyslexia or mental health. All of the posts relating to this category will then be displayed.

Tags

On the right-hand side of the page click on the word or phrase you want to look at, such as Android or Claro Read. All of the posts relating to this tag or phrase will then be displayed.Screen shot of tags box

 Navigating Bloggers posts

To browse a certain bloggers posts, type their name into the search bar, hit ‘enter’ and all their posts will come up in the results. For example, if you have read on her ‘meet the bloggers’ page that Gemma has dyslexia, and you would like to read her posts on helpful software for dyslexia, such as Sensus Access.

Alternative formats

If you have read a blog post on some software that you like the look of, but which isn’t available on a platform suitable to you (i.e. it’s only available on Android, and you have an iPhone) then AlternativeTo.net might be of use.
